We are an independently owned retail store and we do not accept returns from any other retailer (including Birkenstock-USA). We only accept returns of items purchased at www.birkenstockmidtown.com or in our store, Birkenstock Midtown. If you did not purchase from us, then you need to contact the original retailer. Please do not send the item back to the manufacturer.
Because things are hectic right now, we're doing all that we can to lessen your stress. That's why we currently have no time limits on exchanges and returns for regular stock, and 30 day returns for sale or clearance items. The shoes must be in new condition, with proof of purchase.
Please try your shoes on carpet or a clean, smooth floor and wearing nylons or a light sock to prevent soiling the inside of the shoe.
If the item shows signs of wear or abuse, we do not offer a refund or exchange.
Orders placed before 2pm on our business days will be shipped the same day you order it. Orders placed after 2pm will be sent on our next business day.
We can take care of minor repairs such as sealing the cork, replacing rivets, and minor gluing jobs. Other repairs such as re-soleing must be done by a cobbler. (Check out New Life Shoe Repair).
For cork sealing we ask that you leave the sandals with us for three business days.
